Empowering the Next Generation: Interactive Career Sessions for Graduates

Landing your first job or figuring out where your career could go can feel confusing and a bit scary, especially at the beginning. That’s why I created an interactive and engaging lecture series for high school and university students who want to feel more confident and prepared for the real working world.

This isn’t a classic lecture where you just sit and listen, it’s a conversation. We talk honestly about how the job market really works, what employers actually care about, and how to stand out without pretending to be someone you’re not. I share practical tips, real examples, and space to ask all the questions you usually don’t get to ask.

The goal is simple... less stress, more clarity, and a lot more confidence about what comes next.

You know those questions that come up in interviews like “What are your strengths?”, “Who are you?”, or “Tell me about yourself”?

Most people struggle with them, not because they don’t have strengths, but because they don’t know how to explain themselves.

That’s why we start with your personality.

We do a personality test and look at how you think, how you communicate, and what comes naturally to you. This gives us a clear base to work from.

From there, we connect this to real examples from your life, school, or work. The goal is that you understand your strengths and can explain them in a clear, confident way during interviews, instead of guessing or memorising answers.

Once you see this clearly, those interview questions stop feeling stressful and start feeling manageable.

Who am I:
Finding strengths through personality

Finding your vision: Building a meaningful career path

We’ll start with the big picture:

  • What are your dreams and ambitions?

  • How do you identify your strengths and passions?

  • What kind of career path aligns with your vision for the future?

This part is all about helping students uncover their potential and understand what they bring to the table, because knowing who you are is the first step in creating a successful career.

Next, we dive into the practical tools every graduate needs:

A fully rewritten CV

  • Built to pass ATS filters, the first gate you need to get through

  • Clear and easy for recruiters to scan, so you actually get shortlisted

  • Focused on showing your value, not just listing tasks

  • Written based on your personality. We start with a personality test and build your CV and LinkedIn around how you think and work

  • You’ll get detailed, custom questions from me to fill in gaps properly, not guess

A full LinkedIn review guide

  • (this is step 3 in the hiring process)

  • 20+ pages of guidance that’s clear, practical, and easy to follow

  • Copy-paste examples you can adapt to your own profile

 A custom cover letter

  • A role-specific example plus guidance, so you can reuse and adjust it for future applications without starting from scratch

The essentials: CVs, LinkedIn, and cover letters

Soft skills: Thriving in the workplace

Landing a job is just the beginning. Thriving in your career requires soft skills that aren’t always taught in school. We’ll cover:

  • Interview Success: How to make a great first impression, answer questions confidently, and stand out in interviews.

  • Professional Communication: From emails to meetings, learn how to communicate clearly and effectively.

  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Skills to help you navigate challenges and grow in any role.

  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Understanding how to work well with others in diverse and dynamic workplaces.

We’ll use real-world examples and role-playing exercises to make this session engaging and relatable.
