We’re hiring for a client in the events industry and we’re looking for two sharp, calm-under-pressure, take-charge event professionals to join their team.
One Event Project Manager
One Senior Event Project Manager
The company is based in Dubai, but the events run across the UAE, everything from music festivals and sporting events to food, fitness, and innovation-focused experiences.
These aren’t junior roles. You’ll be responsible for the entire event cycle. That means planning, vendor management, ticketing, on-site logistics, and post-event reporting. You’ll need to be fast, flexible, and focused, especially when things don’t go as planned. Which, if you’ve worked in events before, you know happens more often than not.
This is a hands-on job. It’s not a 9 to 5. Events happen at night, on weekends, on holiday and when they do, you need to be the kind of person who shows up ready to lead.
Before you apply, here’s what you need to know.
This client is serious about hiring the right people. So are we.
If you're just looking to submit 20 applications today and see what happens, this is not the role for you.
But if you’re ready to own big projects, bring real energy to a growing team, and be the kind of person others can rely on when pressure is high, keep reading.
TWO THINGS YOU MUST GET RIGHT BEFORE APPLYING
1. Your CV must be ATS readable
No photos. No fancy fonts. No Canva templates. If your CV isn’t machine-readable, it will not be seen by a human. This team uses an ATS, and they expect applicants to know how the process works especially if you’re applying for a senior role.
2. Your CV must show event experience
It’s not enough to write "managed events." Be specific. What kind of events? How many people? What vendors did you work with? What budgets did you handle? What tools or platforms did you use?
If your event experience is real, your CV should tell that story clearly. If you’ve just supported someone else on a few small events, that’s not going to be enough here.
Not sure if your CV is strong enough or ATS friendly?
Send us a message at hello@thrive-through-hr.com. We offer this as a service and can help you clean it up so your application actually gets seen.
To be clear, using our CV service won’t guarantee you get hired but it will make sure your CV doesn't get filtered out before a human ever looks at it.
